I sure hope there's success in bringing an NHL team to the Valley, wherever it may be.

Stable ownership for an extended period of time would be the key.

Fingers crossed.

As a loner, distance runner whose put in 105,000 miles since 1977, raced all over the world and cared for literally nothing else I am still outraged by the city losing this team.

Taking care of a dying wife, one night my mom offered to give me a night off and my nieces husband took me to a Coyotes game.

I couldn’t believe how exciting it was.

I couldnt believe everyone didn’t see how exciting it was.

I dove right in, STH for 8 years, won the 50/50 two times and got in two fights defending my teams honor.

How could anyone interested in team sports, business or community let this happen?

Don’t expect them back in my lifetime but hope the NHL does come back.

I am still angered by the lack of political support, but in all truth, ownership had a lot to do with that lack of political support.
