Really like these kind of articles that show how the team operates, particularly when it's something they are good at it. I would not be opposed to the team snatching up more goalie scouts if only to further he gap between them and the rest of the league who are surely to start emulating the Coyotes soon.

I think a Russian goalie scout would be incredibly valuable.

It's great to see the organization focus on goalies, a position near and dear to my heart. My son was the goalie from a little guy all though High School, probably could have played for NAU but he decided to focus on his piano studies major. Well done Coyotes, it is a tough position to play and don't get the attention they deserve.

You played goalie before Craig? That’s awesome I had no idea. Would love to see an anecdote/article about any of your past playing hockey!

Also, great article! I love our goalie trio and Prosvetov on the rise as well, excited to see Kuemper crush it this year. He may be worth getting stitched on my Coyotes jersey 😃

With Hill's performance in the scrimmage, trading Raanta may make the pain hurt little less?

Not sure there are any buyers right now, but I am of the mind that the Coyotes will need three good goalies to get through this crazy season.

Another good move by GM Armstrong. Goalie is the most important position so it only makes sense to build goalie "department" within the organization to develop the best goalie and build depth at the position. This move is just like the Armstrong's other move in creating a "high performance" division and hiring a High Performance Director to cut down on injuries and get peak performance from every player. All pro sports have become so highly specialized. The best teams identify the key components of high level performance and focus a ton of resources on those key components.
